The Vancouver Rugby Union is hosting an online auction for a trip for two to Langara Fishing Lodge (www.langara.com) worth $11,000. Funds raised via the auction will go to the VRU’s activities including our successful High Performance team, the Vancouver Wave. The inaugural year has been successful with the Wave being on top of the 7 team table and playing the Pacific Pride (Rugby Canada’s development team) for the championship on November 13th.
The Wave has players from 8 different Vancouver clubs. The money raised goes to defer the costs or running this team – field rental expenses, equipment, referees, medical/trainer support and kit expenses.
Langara Lodge is North America’s best sport fishing and wildlife experience. Luxury lodges, world-famous salmon fishing, and spectacular wildlife await you at Langara Island, in BC’s remote Haida Gwaii.
The trip can be redeemed in May, June or Sept of 2022.
